A PRODUCTIVE BACK TO SCHOOL

BACK TO SCHOOL WITH A STYLISH & PRODUCTIVE OFFICE

Creating a space that makes you productive and looks great!

This is a favorite of mine as I struggled to find balance when I shifted over from not only corporate employe to self employed.

Let's begin with these productive essentials.

Working from home has become the new norm for many individuals, and creating a productive and aesthetically pleasing home office space is essential. Let's explore some essential pieces and ideas that can help you achieve a luxurious and stylish home office.

First and foremost, a desk and chair are the foundation of any office space. Look for a desk that suits your style and provides ample workspace. Consider a sleek and elegant design that complements the overall aesthetics of your home. Pair it with a comfortable and supportive chair that not only looks great but also promotes good posture and enhances your productivity.

To add a touch of luxury, consider investing in furniture pieces that exude elegance. For example, a beautiful Tosca chair can serve as a statement piece, combining both functionality and style. Additionally, a console table can be a great addition, providing storage space for your printer, files, and paperwork. Opt for a console that seamlessly blends with the rest of your home decor, creating a cohesive look.

Creating the right ambiance is crucial for a productive workspace. Layered lighting can play a significant role in achieving this. Consider adding a stylish lamp that not only provides additional lighting but also adds texture or a pop of color to the space. This can instantly elevate the overall look and feel of your home office.

If you have the flexibility to add paint to your office area, choose a color that inspires and motivates you. However, if that's not an option, you can still infuse personality into the space by incorporating wall art and an area rug. Find artwork that resonates with your style and preferences, and select an area rug that helps define the office area within the room.

Lastly, let's talk about home accessories for the upcoming back-to-school season. Look for items that can enhance your productivity and add a touch of personality to your workspace. Consider desk organizers, stylish notebooks or planners, motivational prints, or even a small indoor plant to bring life to your home office.

Remember, creating a productive and visually appealing home office involves finding pieces that inspire you and make you feel comfortable. With the right essentials and thoughtful additions, you can transform your work-from-home experience into a delightful and efficient one.

Defining my workflow didn't come easily, but after reflecting on my habits from my corporate days in America, I realized that implementing a similar routine helped me separate my home and work life. One thing I used to do when working in the corporate world was grab a cup of coffee to go. I would arrive at the office, set up for the day, and enjoy a hot cup of coffee while I worked. Recreating this experience at home allowed me to fall back into a productive work routine effortlessly.
